Outstanding Impact in Education

This award will go to an educator making a positive impact by creating an initiative or programme dedicated to improving mental wellbeing of their educational environment. The education setting or educator will have taken steps to break down barriers to discussing mental health openly and will have created an environment where pupils are encouraged to talk about their mental health and wellbeing, and feel comfortable about doing so. Nominations are encouraged for schools, colleges, universities, teachers and any person in the education sector, and also for specific projects and initiatives.

Wellbeing champions offer peer support, direct people to resources, encourage open conversations about wellbeing, and help create a positive environment where everyone feels supported, valued, and able to manage their mental health effectively.
